Child abuse and trauma in the U.S. and globally is on the rise, and so is the need for highly skilled Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) who are trained to effectively treat a child living with the after-effects of trauma, violence, or neglect. The OT/OTA Attachment and Trauma-Focused Training Series is a peer-developed, expert-led professional program offered by the Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children (ATTACh).
The Level 2 Occupational Therapy Assessment for Attachment and Trauma Training Series brings to the OT profession a compendium of formidable Occupational Therapists in the field of pediatric and family care. OTs/OTAs are required to have completed the prereqisite, Level 1 OT/OTA Attachment and Trauma training through ATTACh prior to registering for this course.
Participants will receive pre-recorded instructional sessions on each week's topics one week prior to each live session.
